MP Group were engaged to undertake the design and refurbishment of the existing Waves Restaurant at the Watermark Hotel, Surfers Paradise which consisted of extensive stone finished servery units and cooking areas, two tandoori ovens, a 16 metre hot buffet, comprehensive stainless steel finishes, a chocolate fountain, refrigerated sweet display and associated works.

Due to the hotel continuing to trade 24 hours a day seven days a week, MP Group worked closely with Hotel Management in an effort to co-ordinate works, to ensure that interruption to guest services and the daily running of the Hotel was kept to a minimum.

MP Group's involvement in this project included assisting with the design and finishes selection as well as undertaking the complete fitout and project management.  This consisted of preparing the initial budget, tendering, liaison with authorities, manufacturing of joinery, site installation, and on-site management of all sub-trades through to completion / handover.
