The airport refurbishment project involved a staged demolition of existing shops and offices, the fit-out of six new food outlets, three offices, back of house area and associated distribution network.

With the terminal open 19 hours a day, work was completed throughout the day and night to ensure minimal disruption to the thousands of passengers who passed through the airport daily.  Airport security also proved challenging requiring all tools to be checked in each day.

The MP Group were responsible for the complete fit-out and project management.  This included the initial budget, tendering, liaison with authorities, manufacturing of joinery, site installation, and on-site management of all sub-trades through to completion / handover.
