Following on from the successful completion of the Waves Restaurant at Watermark Hotel Surfers Paradise, MP Group were awarded the fitout of the 551 Restaurant and Bar at the Watermark Hotel Brisbane which is to be used as the main dining area for the hotel.

The Brisbane project involved demolition of the existing restaurant and external structure to make way for a complete rebuild doubling the size from 110m2 to 252m2. In addition to the structural work MP Group completed the internal fitout, new outdoor decking and tiling, plus glass pool fencing and perimeter balustrade.

MP Groups involvement in this project included assisting with the design and finishes selection as well as undertaking the complete fit-out and project management. This incorporated preparation of the initial budget, tendering, liaison with authorities, manufacturing of joinery, site installation, and on-site management of all sub-trades through to completion / handover.
