Q400 Rating for 2011

MP Group would like to annouce our Q400 rating has dramatically improved from 174 in 2010 to 142 out of 400 most successful privately owned companies in Queensland for the 2011 year.

Element - Burleigh

MP Group completed the fit-out and Project Management of the Element store at Burleigh Heads. A diverse range of natural building materials were used throughout the project, within the finished joinery and during the joinery prototyping. This project was recently presented with a Gold Award for the Best Spatial Design, one of New Zealand's most prestigious design awards for the Projects designer, Prospace Design. MP Group are proud to be associated with this client and brand.

Billabong - Sydney Arcade

Recently Billabong opened their newest flagship store at Sydney Arcade. MP Group completed the fit-out and project management. This impressive new store spans 4 levels with extensive internal and external alterations using a diverse range of timbers and materials. MP Group were heavily involved with this complex project and fitting it out. MP Group are proud to be associated with this new concept.

Now 2 Factories

With over 2,500 square metres of combined factory space MP Group now have the capability to produce large volume commercial joinery. In house we not only have automated machinery for general joinery works but also have a machine shop that caters for all aspects of solid timber joinery, a paint shop for all our two Pac lacquer systems, and also solid surface fabricators.

Project In Spotlight

Billabong has opened their newest flagship store at Sydney Arcade, in the heart of Sydney, in April.
This impressive new store spans over 4 levels with extensive internal and external alterations using a diverse range of timbers and materials. MP Group was engaged for the fit – out of this project. MP Group is proud to be associated with this new concept and Billabong.

Research and Development

EuroShop is the worlds largest trade fair for Retailers, with over 107,000 square metres of exhibition space. This year 2,038 exhibitors from 53 nations and visitors in excess of 106,000 attended the event. Managing Director Mark Pidd was one of these visitors and returned with the latest innovations and ideas showcased by our international clients and suppliers within our industry.

Marriott Hotel - Surfers Paradise

MP Group were engaged to undertake the commercial joinery fit-out of the Marriott Hotel, Surfers Paradise. Working closely with Hotel Management to co-ordinate works ensured that interruption to guest services and daily running of the hotel was kept to a minimum. This commercial fit-out included the onsite installation of all joinery items to the hotel suites, grand ballroom, reception/lobby, connectivity lounge and all other public areas. MP Group were also responsible for the in-house manufacturing of all joinery.
